On September 6 of the year, in the large conference hall of complex with participation of Head of the Kashkadarya regional branch of “Veteran” Union of war veterans and disabled veterans of Uzbekistan - N. Chorshanbiev and Head of “Uzbekkino” the regional Union E. Juraev, a ceremony was held dedicated to the 25th anniversary of “Veteran” Union of war veterans and disabled veterans of Uzbekistan.
A documentary about participants of the Afghan war, shot by “Uzbekkino” Union, was presented at the event.
Then, Head of the Kashkadarya regional branch of “Veteran” Union of war veterans and disabled veterans of Uzbekistan - N. Chorshanbiev made a speech in which he spoke about great merits to Motherland of Uzbek young soldiers who participated in the Afghan war, and also emphasized his satisfaction with attention of Head of our state - Supreme Commander-in-Chief Sh. Mirziyoyev paid to participants and families of those killed in the Afghan war.
At the elated Event, the 25th anniversary commemorative badge established by “Veteran” Union of war veterans and disabled veterans of Uzbekistan was solemnly presented to 17 employees who are currently working in complex, who took a courageous part in the Afghan war.
At the end of the event, guests and war veterans currently working in complex sat round the festive board.
